Ylang Ylang & Orange
Shampoo for sexy hair

Orange
oil has excellent de-greasing and cleaning
properties.
Ylang Ylang oil is distilled from the
flowers of the plant. It has an exotic sweet
floral scent.
A particularly valuable skin and hair care oil,
ylang ylang balances the secretion of sebum
(OIL), , sooths, softens, and rejuvenates - due
to plant hormones present - and so can be used
for all skin types, especially oily,
combination, aging and stressed.
Stimulates the scalp and encourages hair growth,
promoting strong healthy hair. It can also
protect your hair when swimming in salt water.
In Asia, ylang ylang is associated with weddings
and honeymoons. Ylang Ylang Oil is considered to
be an aphrodisiac because of it’s simultaneous
calming and stimulating action. It has been
credited with aiding in the relief of frigidity
and impotence.
Of interest: Native to Indonesia and the
Philippines, the ylang ylang tree belongs to the
same family as the custard apple, and requires a
great deal of attention. Ylang ylang means
'flower of the flowers' in the Malayan language,
and the exquisitely fragrant, large
tongue-shaped flowers are a traditional
adornment in the Far East. They are strewn on
the marriage beds of newly wed couples -
probably due to the aphrodisiac properties for
which their perfume is renowned. Ylang ylang was
an ingredient in the famous 19th century hair
product, Macassar hair oil. It became so popular
that Victorian housewives had to protect their
chair backs against oily stains, hence anti-macassars,
or chair covers.
